Since we’re using 100% natural rubber, you'll notice a rubber scent when you first unroll your new mat. Don’t worry – this is completely normal! Simply leave your mat unrolled, rubber side up, for a few days, and the smell will dissipate quickly, leaving you with a fresh, clean surface.

Natural rubber is more flexible than neoprene, so while our new mats may still develop creases when folded, they are much easier to smooth out compared to neoprene alternatives.

If your mat develops minor creases, unroll it and let it sit flat for a day or two, and they’ll release quickly, leaving you with a smooth, even surface.

You can also pop it in your dryer on medium heat with a damp towel for 10-15 minutes. Just be sure to remove it as soon as the dryer turns off.

• Wash by hand in cold water.
• Lay your mat flat on towels to dry overnight.
